v1.5 is now starting to roll out for pre-release users!
If you’d like to try it out, open the Beta tab in the app and set your Update Access to Early Access. You should then get the access soon, as we continue to roll out this update to more users
A full changelog will be posted to the website once the majority of users can update to v1.5!
Feel free to use this thread to share your feedback, report bugs, or discuss anything you notice in this version!
Are you even aware what you changed? Or is this just Cursor running on steroids, throwing it out to users with zero changelog because you don’t even know what’s changed yourselves?
Come on guys, if you see that users are struggling with this approach, why keep repeating it? How hard is it to provide a testers’ changelog so we actually know what to check?
On this page: github…oslook..cursor-ai-downloads the download links labeled v1.5.0 and v1.4.6 currently lead to the v1.4.5 files.
Could you please update the links or publish the correct assets for v1.5.0 and v1.4.6?
Observed on August 20, 2025. I can provide screenshots or exact redirect URLs if needed.
also on every command confirmation the screen dims, entire screen, not good
also cant no longer reject command and say what to do different, just reject that ends conversation, skip or accept, kind of a bummer, was better before
Let’s start one more round of our “Spot the Difference” dev game version 1.5.
The game is simple, update it, then start using, if something break, it’s because it belongs to the 1.5, so report here, if it works, then you are a lucky guy rsrs.
Whoever finds the most “future features” (also known as bugs) wins.
i honestly dont see any bugs in comparison with last version, just few icons have changed, we got notification when agent needs approval, in my opinion worse terminal commands approval and thats about it. what im disappointed about is the fact there are no other features as requested on forums for weeks..
@liquefy we are working on smaller and more focused releases. There are still features in progress or in testing that are not part of this specific release but many more will come . Some changes might not be visible but under the hood they will allow new features and better features also from our backend.
Yes as you mentioned, notifications are now available and this was requested by a lot of users.
