Adding follow ups in web does nothing - no response, no UI feedback, nothing

Steps to Reproduce

Run a web BG job, then try to add a follow up

Expected Behavior

Cursor web reponds to the chat input

Operating System

Windows 10/11

Since yesterday we cannot start any background agents at all. I’ve tried to re-create the snapshot but when doing so we get the following errors

Steps to Reproduce

Go to cursor settings → Background agents → Setup machine interactively

Or just try to create a background agent

Any update? My team is completely blocked by this outage

Hi @F_Man , I’m an engineer on the team taking a look - it looks like the GitHub installation is broken for some unknown reason, and requesting an access token with GH is returning a 404. Is there any chance someone on your team uninstalled the Cursor app (and we somehow failed to process that)?

Just to avoid sending sensitive information over the forum, we’ll follow up over email with more specifics.
