Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Background Agent (GitHub, Slack, Web, Linear)

Describe the Bug

I use GPT5 (I haven’t tested other models). The VM boots up and no reply is given or no code is changed. It doesn’t even appear to look around the Github repo. This exact setup was working yesterday. This has been tested 5-10x times over the course of 6+ hours.

Logged in and out of Cursor. Still no progress.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Select Repo and Model, create a task
  2. Wait for it to finish and see no response

Expected Behavior

To make changes, look around the repo, everything it normally does

• Please check your Dashboard → Background Agents to see if there are any status indicators or usage limit issues
• Try switching to other models temporarily to see if the issue is model-specific

Switched models and it is still broken. No status indicators or usage limit issues.
