gpt-4o is now offered for free to all OpenAI users, but cursor still charges to use that model 500 times/month.
Maybe Cursor can gatekeep the copilot++ features behind the paywall but right now we cant use gpt-4o for free / without limits.
It’s not free via the api, and it’s rate limited on chatgpt so doesn’t make sense
