Cursor with Sonnet 3.5 hates to write into files itself

Hey there,

I fight hard with Cursor Composer to make it to actually write into new files. It gives me code but even if I tell it to “DO NOT BE LAZY WRITE INTO FILES” it does not write into files. Even after telling it couple times in the composer. It just repeats itself.

For a context, if had to create 4 new files in a new folder. I gave to it 3 files as a reference. Also I noticed that the code that it gave me as a response was cutoff, so it was not complete.
So, does it mean when it comes to outputting large new files it has a limitation? if yes, what is the limit?

You yell at the AI too? aha damn. Yes, this is a frequent problem, although not constant. I usually find restarting Cursor resolves it and the AI starts actually writing to files again.
