Hey, thanks for the report and the Request ID.

This message is coming from a safety check that stops a response when it sees the same lines repeated back to back. Sometimes it triggers on responses where repetition is valid (similar log lines, list items, repeated code). In that case, switching models in the same chat usually won’t help, because it’s the response content that triggers it, not the model. It’s an issue we’re tracking.

Try this and let me know how it goes:

  1. Start a new chat (don’t continue the one that crashed).
  2. Send the same request and add this line at the end: “Put any code, logs, or lists inside code blocks.”
  3. If the task would output lots of similar lines, ask for a short summary instead of the full output.

If “Agent Looping Detected” shows up again, send the new Request ID and briefly say what you asked the agent to do (for example “list all the errors in this log” or “rewrite these files”). That helps us narrow down what exactly is triggering the check.
