Describe the Bug
added a new prompt to add a new statistic to my application and started complaining about something it solved before, and entered in a loop.
Steps to Reproduce
To me it was just talking with the agents and it started to loop, it happened multiple times today after updating to version 1.3.2 of cursor.
Expected Behavior
To not enter in a loop???

Hey, is this happening in an existing chat? Have you tried it in new chats as well? Also, let me know which model you are using.
@deanrie yes, I tried multiple solutions and what just worked was not use cursor until they fix it for real.

Same happens to me - we spend close to 10K monthly on Cursor and we can’t use it now
Yes, Cursor became useless yesterday. It maintains no coherence at all. Says it will do one thing and then forgets and repeats the last thing again. This is for all models. (v.1.2.4)

Same issue - it goes away when you open a new chat - but it quickly comes back.
Happening to me as well. This needs to be fixed ASAP and everyone should be compensated.

Hppening to me as well. Just get stuck in the loop. Started new chat and still same issue. I tried mulitple models claude-4, 3 openai same issue. Its unusable.

Cursor Version 1.2.4
It’s as if the context / chat history is being truncated incorrectly and is cutting off the most recent history, including my most recent instruction(s). The agent just keeps going in circles on the same stuff over and over.
