My Desktop is not looking like I want. Things have changed with updates that I cannot fix. Is there any way to move the agent to the right from the left? It says to drag it, but that does not work.

Hey, drag and drop doesn’t work here. It moves individual view panels, not the whole Primary Side Bar. To move the agent or sidebar to the right, use one of these:

  • Menu: View → Appearance → Move Primary Side Bar Right
  • Command Palette Cmd+Shift+P or Ctrl+Shift+P: View: Move Primary Side Bar Right
  • Right click the Activity Bar → Move Primary Side Bar to Right
  • Or set it in settings.json: "workbench.sideBar.location": "right"

If you try this and it doesn’t stick after a restart, let me know. That’s a separate issue.
