Firstly, can I ask what version you upgraded to, and if you managed to get things working since?
If not, I’d try our recently released Remote SSH extension that is now built and maintained by the Cursor team. The reconnection logic is reworked – and hopefully more stable.
If you’re currently using the VSCode Remote SSH extension (ms-vscode-remote.remote-ssh), could you uninstall that one, and instead install the anysphere.remote-ssh extension? You can find it by searching for @id:anysphere.remote-ssh in the extension search box (Attaching a screenshot).
