Additional Information

I asked Cursor to fix itself and it copied the dll from Vscode and working fine as the screenshot shows.

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Yes - Cursor is unusable

Hey, thanks for the report, and good to hear you were already able to get the terminal working.

It looks like the bundled ConPTY files are missing from the Windows ARM64 build for 3.23, and this only shows up when terminal.integrated.windowsUseConptyDll is enabled. I’ve passed this on to the team.

The DLL you copied manually may get overwritten again during the next update. A more reliable workaround is to set this option back to its default value:

  1. Open Settings Ctrl+,
  2. Find terminal.integrated.windowsUseConptyDll
  3. Uncheck it, or set "terminal.integrated.windowsUseConptyDll": false in settings.json
  4. Close any open terminals and open a new one

With this setting turned off, the terminal uses the ConPTY built into Windows, so it doesn’t need the bundled DLL. Let me know if the terminal still won’t start with the setting turned off.
