Editing Chat Window Doesn't Show Edited Info

Describe the Bug

When stopping and editing a chat message in the agent mode, the additional information I added does not appear to be saved and passed to the agent when I click for it to start again.

When the agent finishes, I can tell that my edited information has been taking into context but it doesn’t show in the resulting chat box.

Steps to Reproduce

Start an agent chat with Claude 4
Once it starts responding and making code edits, stop the chat
Go back to the chat box and add more information to your message
Run the chat
See that the new info isn’t shown

Expected Behavior

The new information added should be used as the new chat box content

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

hi @s8ndst0rm and thank you for your bug report.

Could you please update to 1.3.7 as we released several bug fixes and improvements?

Kindly let me know if the issue still occurs there in a new chat.

Hey, when you stop the chat and edit your message before sending a new request, it should take the new context into account. Something strange is happening here.

As my colleague suggested, try updating Cursor. The latest version at the moment is 1.3.8.

Also, if this doesn’t fix the issue, it would be helpful if you could create a screencast of this behavior.

Looks to be fixed in 1.3.8. Thanks guys!
