Hi Cursor Team,
First, I want to express how happy I am with Cursor as a heavy daily user. Your team has done an amazing job!
I would like to suggest an enhancement for Cursor. Currently, when an error occurs after applying suggested changes, the only way to address it is by starting a new chat. This process results in the loss of the entire context of the ongoing task, which can be inefficient as it requires re-explaining the situation from scratch.
I propose enabling the ability to address errors within the same ongoing chat conversation. This would ensure that the context of the task and previous discussions is maintained, leading to more efficient troubleshooting and a cohesive user experience.
By implementing this feature, users would benefit from continuity in their workflows, reducing redundancy and enhancing the overall usability. It would streamline the process of resolving errors, ultimately saving time and efforts for both users and support teams.
I believe this feature could greatly enhance the functionality of Cursor for many users. I’m open to discussing this suggestion further or providing additional details if needed.
Thank you for considering this feature request!
Best regards,
Farz
