Hey try this solution: [image] The last update kills Cursor Bug Report Same. I killed the updater process, which killed Cursor entirely. I didn’t uninstall, but re-installed from the website. Sadly, that meant back to 0.45 Then I found the update installer at this loc…

But it will update automatically when I close cursor, what should I do? close auto update or what?

When installing using the downloaded installer (currently 0.45.15), uncheck ‘Launch Cursor’ before clicking ‘Finish’, then install 0.46.5 from Temp location.

I’m having the same problem, after this error I can’t open the cursor, clicking on it doesn’t respond. I don’t want to use appdate’s CodeSetup-stable-0.46.5.exe for a temporary installation, it’s not a real installer and I can’t customize the installation location, I hope the official fix soon.
