Extension marketplace in 1.3.0?

i saw somebody from cursor team mention custom extensions api should work in 1.3.0 so we could use vscode’s marketplace? am i mistaken? any info on this? never saw it in changelog

Hi @liquefy the changelog is not yet updated as we are looking into feedback on 1.3.0.

It should be possible to use now a custom Marketplace URL.

do you have any information whether will the marketplace url system be described in the upcoming changelog? perhaps can you share anything now in regards to the background agent changes? (virtual machine stuff/background agent replacing manual mode)?

Marketplace URL is a Setting that has been fixed in 1.3.0 but always existed. Let met know if you need help with it. It should be listed in Changelog as it was reported in 1.2.x

Background Agent changes I’m verifying now but will share asap I have more info.

Manual mode I am checking too.

Sorry I didn’t get around to answering you yet

There is a IDE setting that allows setting a new URL for marketplace. It changes the Marketplace from OpenVSX to any vscode compatible marketplace you would like to use.
