Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

hi @velvedere and welcome to Cursor Forum.

Cursor uses the OpenVSX marketplace as VSCode marketplace is only accessible from VSCode.

If an extension is missing you may contact the extension developer to submit the same extension also in OpenVSX.

Is there are specific extension you are looking for?

hi @velvedere please find above my answer to your previous thread.

Kindly avoid creating multiple duplicate threads as this clutters up the forum.

Thanks for your response @condor
They seemed like two separate issues (non-existence in Marketplace vs. relevance) so that’s why I created two issues.

Regarding “relevance,” I still think there may be an issue with sorting, despite my misunderstanding about the extension marketplace in Cursor being OpenVSX vs. VSCode being the VSCode Marketplace.

When searching “systemd”, there is a systemd-unit-file extension as the 10th result.

I’m not sure how the 1-9th results relate to the query “systemd,” it seems like systemd-unit-file should show up nearer to the top.

Great, thank you for the clarification. Yes I missed that.

Sorting is also part of the marketplace and not necessarily something we handle internally.
