Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, we recently switched to OpenVSX as our extension library, so for this extension to be installed in Cursor, it must be available on OpenVSX, but it seems it’s not there yet. You can ask the extension author to publish it on this platform.

@deanrie I am the author of the extension and I posted the OpenVSX link to the extension above. Here it is again Open VSX Registry

I don’t know why my last response was marked as a solution. I didn’t do anything other than share a link to you all of the extension that’s not appearing when I search extensions in Cursor.

Here’s a screen recording:

I think it will take some time before it appears in the marketplace. Please wait a couple of days and let me know if it still doesn’t show up.

Same as the video I shared, nothing appears when searching for any extension, not even for the top-10 extensions on OpenVSX.

It looks like it can’t be found by name, but it can be found by ID. I’ll pass this on to the team.

Hi, can you sign into Cursor? In your video I see the sign in button at the bottom. Marketplace search requires that you are signed in.

Interesting, this would be the first VS Code clone I’ve used that requires an account to use the extension marketplace. I’ve signed in and now I can search.

You all should probably add some messaging around that, so devs coming from other VS Code clones aren’t confused… or just let anyone search the marketplace.
