First off, I want to express my appreciation for all the work that’s gone into Cursor. The product is genuinely a game-changer for coding productivity, and I’m grateful for the continued improvements.
I’m writing to share some feedback on pricing options. I primarily use Cursor for the code editing tab autocomplete feature, and I don’t require integrated access to premium AI models like Claude or other higher-cost features. For users like me, a simpler, more affordable subscription tier would be a huge win.
Would you consider introducing a lower-cost plan—say, in the $5–$10/month range—that unlocks just the core coding interface/tab autocomplete, without bundled access to the more expensive AI models? I think this kind of plan would be perfect for those of us focused purely on the coding workflow.
Even if this isn’t a fit for your current roadmap, I hope it can be considered as user-tier customization feedback. Thank you for listening and for building a great tool!
