New pricing tier

Feature request for product/service

Describe the request

I love Cursor but the pricing tiers leave a large gap between the $60 Pro Plus and $200 Ultra plans. It would be great to have more granular tiers to better support users with varying usage and budgets.

Suggested pricing tiers example:

  • $20/month: Basic plan for light users and hobbyists
  • $60/month: Pro Plus for power users with moderate usage
  • $120/month: Mid-tier plan for freelancers and serious devs needing more allowance
  • $200+/month: Ultra plan for heavy use by professionals (freelancers, …)

This tiered structure offers a smoother upgrade path and makes higher usage more affordable without a steep jump.

PS: Operating system wouldn’t really matter since pricing is general, but since I have to choose one:

Operating System (if it applies)

Windows 10/11

I for one will fork over for plan three.

I think we need a $40 plan, for me would be really useful

I would like a 40$ too (with a yearly discount)

20$/month like a blink of an eye
I’m currently using Copilot like 2nd-option

$120 or $100 (to match Claude pricing) would be awesome

I just about reach the limit of my Pro+ subscription and find myself tagging on a Claude $20 subscription to fill in the gaps. I feel $200 is too much, I’d probably just get Claude Max instead (either $60 + $100 or $20 + $100)

If I could subscribe to a $100/120 plan instead, I’d go for that instead of Claude

I’d even pay Cursor $5 per month to proxy subscriptions (Claude, GPT)
