I’m still using Claude mostly but keep trying with Cursor.
I tried projects as soon as they came out. UI and showing the various sub agents was great and just 1 chat per company I work on.
Problems
- Work goes on forever, so so slow it’s unbelievable. I tried so hard to stay on it but had to go back to Claude. Forever getting stuck, taking hours to do something Claude takes minutes. Can’t use local computer properly so limited in what can use.
- It loses track of all the requests (Both chats and projects)
I have with Claude circa 5 chat sessions open in general while each is working on say 20 tasks at a given time. I can just chuck them all at claude at any point and keep stacking them up and it obviously turns that into a task list. With Cursor, it stops what its doing and just forget everything.
My suggestions
- Allow projects on “This Mac” so we stop dealing your awful cloud agents that are so slow, limited etc.
- Turn every request into a task list and agents can never lose track of them. It must always keep going until every task is completed or instructed otherwise. Keep track of the basics on that task, ie waiting on user and what questions.
- You need to get a grip on the remote worker agents/tasks on OS. It’s so useless I can’t still run 2+ agents on ‘this mac’. I have to tell Claude to fix cursor. The app can’t even fix itself
- I also notice that tasks just sometimes go on for 12 hours stuck. Where is the basics of checking if an agent is stuck or not and working around it.
Desperate for these improvements as really like using grok for the grunt work but it’s impossible to throw a lot at it due to the app forgetting everything
