Many organizations have strict data governance policies and billing integration with GCP. Using Vertex AI allows us to burn down existing commits rather than opening new procurement.

[Parity]
Tools like Cline, Roo Code, and OpenRouter already have native Vertex AI integration. It is becoming a standard expectation for AI coding tools
