A super useful feature that now has become a huge part of workflow is toggling between thinking model and non-thinking model within the same thread - would be really nice - I can see you have to first open up the model dropdown THEN u can toggle but it should be global just like the command I for Agent and command L for Ask quickly toggles between them which has become the most common shortcut I use now, coz I instantly want to limit the A.I from going crazy I just hit command L to keep it tamed, then only when I want to release it on an easy task i switch to command I - But anyways also something like Command then up and down arrow keys would feel intuitive.
Thanks
Hey, you can switch between models in two ways: first, by quick switching with cmd + /
, and second, with a dropdown window using cmd + alt + /
.
@deanrie could you please confirm this still works in the latest version? I think it silently got removed at some point. I can not toggle different models with cmd + .
anymore. I believe the setting that used to work was aiSettings.action.toggleModel
.
When I set a similar mapping by myself for the same command like I do for switching modes, it throws the below error.
Cannot destructure property ‘specificModelField’ of ‘undefined’ as it is undefined.
Any guidance is highly appreicated.
Hey, switching between models really doesn’t work anymore. Now it only works with the dropdown window, and to open it, you need to use Cmd/Ctrl + /
.
