I’ve been experiencing frequent crashes with Cursor on Ubuntu, which has made it difficult to work efficiently. Until they address the stability and compatibility issues with Ubuntu, I’ve decided to switch back to VS Code. It’s more stable on my system and better supports my current workflow. So stay safe and be updated you all.

They said there will be APT/DEB but who knows when
I moved to other alternative softwares ( i.e. wind…f it is banned to mention its name ) just because there is no simple apt package and it is hard to update everytime. It is not hard to create apt repo for ubuntu! I hope their team make it easier to update or adopt community developed scripts officially, or support ubuntu updates.
0.45 and 0.46 are healthy, its normal to wait for stability
Version 0.48 and 0.47 crashed very offen with codes 132, 139 and alike on my ubuntu22.04. I do not need to run any python script to trigger the app crash. Fortunately 0.46 works fine. But I really like the features of MAX in the two new versions. Any suggestions on stabilizing the 0.47 and 0.48 versions?
Below is my system report.
