I am finding quite confusing information about when GPT-5 will stop being free. On the app, it says it’s going to be free for the launch week, which I’m not sure exactly what it means because today is Thursday. Is it going to be free until Sunday, Monday, or next Thursday? @condor If you look at my screenshot in my earlier post, you can see that it is not free. Why do you claim that it is?

As you can see in my screenshot here ( GPT-5 free until when - #24 by dawid-dahl ) it is not free anymore. And they changed it without announcing anything, like they said they would.

I used to hover over the input window and it would show usage. Seems I am not seeing that any more. Seems like they made it hard to see how much the usage is in the application. Perhaps they prefer we don’t see that so easily :frowning:

@d_k1 You should have received an email from Michael which says that GPT-5 is free through 13th August until midnight PT (GMT-7).

I think maybe you guys should give it a couple of more days, ever since the friday offday the model is hadly usable, it cannot follow instructions as it did on Thursday night and cannot edit more than 4 to 8 lines of code at the time and often times they aren’t even related.
