Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

9 requests in 10 will fail. Only in GPT-5 High. Other models work fine.

Choose GPT-5 High in agent mode.

What exactly happens when requests fail?

  • Do you see any specific error messages in the chat?
  • Or does the model just hang or time out without responding?
  • Can you share a screenshot of the error message if it appears?

Do you have any MCP servers configured?

  • Check Cursor Settings > MCP
  • If yes, try temporarily disabling them and see if that resolves the issue
