Steps to Reproduce

This happens often while using GPT-5 codex in local agent mode. Network diagnostics from within cursor or all green. Restarting a new chat buys me variable time without issues and then starts back up again.

Hey, thanks for the report. This intermittent GPT-5 Agent mode issue has come up a few times. Please try:

  • Disable HTTP/2: Ctrl + , → search “HTTP/2” → enable “Disable HTTP/2” → restart Cursor
  • Share a Network Diagnostics screenshot: Cursor Settings → Network → Run Diagnostics
  • Check your environment: are you using a VPN, proxy, or corporate network?

If the issue happens again after these steps, let me know.

Just to clarify. I never get it for GPT-5. Only for gpt-5 codex
