In Agent mode, when i try to ask something. I get after a few moments this:

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Yes - Cursor is unusable

Hey, are you using an OpenAI API key or a Cursor subscription for the models? If you have the request ID, please share it – that could help investigate. I don’t have direct access to request logs, but staff can view them.

Hey, thanks for the report. Here’s what will help us investigate:

Try network diagnostics:

  • Open Cursor Settings → Network and click “Run Diagnostics”
  • Share the results

Check HTTP/2 settings (especially on corporate networks or with a proxy):

  • Press Ctrl + , to open settings
  • Search for “HTTP/2”
  • Enable the “Disable HTTP/2” option

Test in a new chat: does creating a new Agent thread resolve the issue, or does it persist there too?

Some users report it’s temporary and goes away after starting a new chat, while others see it repeatedly. Understanding your setup will help us decide if deeper investigation is needed.

Hi,

since the new updates from yesterday and today the issues are gone.

Thank you!

regards, Michael
