Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?
Cursor IDE
Describe the Bug
I don’t know if this is a bug with Cursor or if it’s a bug with OpenAI, but when I use GPT-Medium, which is totally different than when I am using GPT-High, GPT-Medium refuses to provide a real-time update on everything that it is doing. That does not happen with GPT-500. So, again, I do not know if this is an issue with OpenAI or if it is an issue with Cursor. It does not happen when I am using the Codex IDE tool with Medium. It’s always streaming what it’s doing. There’s always showing movement. It’s only on Cursor or in Cursor that it doesn’t happen.
Steps to Reproduce
Do any task with GPT-5 Medium, and watch it stop giving you real-time updates. The reason I prefer using GPT-5 Medium is because of the token window. It’s a lot bigger, so I don’t sweat it too much, but I’m not able to use it because it doesn’t give me updates. I don’t know what it’s doing.
Expected Behavior
I expect it to behave just like GPT-High does. That is, always showing what it’s doing. It’s always showing what activities it’s working on.
