GPT5 not able to use the todo tool.

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Sometimes - I can sometimes use Cursor

todo works just for claude models as somebody from the team said it performs poorly on other models, they might reconsider

Same here on Macbook. I’m pretty sure i saw a video with Cursor CEO + Openai president where they were show casing cursor + gpt-5 and the model generated a to-do list.
