Does grok bot use the usage of other models quota?
Hey there! Grok Bot’s own work (chats, routines, anything on its own computer) draws from a separate weekly Grok Bot allowance, not your Cursor Models or Other Models pools.
Two indirect exceptions do hit your Cursor plan, though:
- Cloud agents Grok Bot launches on your repos run as normal Cursor cloud agents and count toward your Cursor plan.
- Bugbot auto-reviewing the PRs those agents open uses your Cursor included usage first (under Other Models), then on-demand once it’s used up.
To keep it off your Cursor pools: have the bot work on its own computer instead of launching cloud agents, turn off automatic Bugbot reviews on those repos (or pause Bugbot in your cursor.com dashboard), and check your on-demand limit at cursor.com/dashboard under Spending.
