Grok Bot: let one bot run several threads in parallel with shared memory

Feature request for product/service

Describe the request

I run a team of Grok Bot bots, each owning one area. Today one bot can only work one conversation thread at a time, so when a second request arrives it waits, or I have to create another bot that doesn’t share the first one’s identity, memory, and routines. Request: let a single bot run multiple concurrent threads/workstreams that share the same profile, memory, skills, and routines, with each thread visible separately in the app. (Previously filed in-app as ticket T-G7079.)

We need this!

Hi @jjhbest001, running several threads on one bot at the same time, sharing its memory, skills and routines, isn’t available yet. Right now each bot works one conversation at a time, which is why a second request waits. This is something the team is actively looking at and I’ve shared your +1!

In the meantime, you can tell the bot to hand longer pieces of work to background helpers (for example “work on these in parallel in the background and report back here”). It should stay free to take your next message while they run. One limit: the helpers can’t change memory, skills or routines themselves, so ask the bot to make those updates when results come back.
