Has the pricing model of cursor changed?

I consumed 10 fast requests in an agent mode conversation using Sonnet 3.7. Does every time edit a file will be counted as a fast request now?

One fast requests equals one message and upto 25 changes made by the agent. 4o-mini is free of charge. Sonnet 3.7 has the same pricing as 3.5 sonnet.

@knospy This is clearly not true anymore. Within the last hour I made 3 requests in Sonnet 3.7 thinking. And I was charged 14 requests. I am recording this behaviour.

this happened before when sonnet 3.7 was introduced, happened less for a while

They seem to use “Auto” behind the scenes even when you set it to a regular model yourself and switch you to an internal variant of “MAX” where each tool call is a paid request

Last time i mentioned that it was ignored

switch to cursor 3.5 for the time being, its often more consistent and only a tad worse than 3.7 thinking

3.7 thinking costs 2 requests per request as the documentation annd pricing page say. Also MAX modes use 1 request per tool call, just dont use it ever, it will charge you 20+ requests for one prompt if you get bad luck. Just use 4.1 and o4-mini, they work very well with cursor.
