I’m new here and wanted to know if they’ll be any changes to the pricing models of 3.7 or 3.7 max wit the release of the new claude model.
Whereas 3.7 is 2 requests and 3.5 is 1 request, does this means it stays this way despite updates?
Hi, there are no updates to Claude 3.7 Sonnet and 3.5 as well, so they wont likely be changed soon as the API costs remain from Anthropic.
From what many report here Claude 4 Sonnet works better than 3.7 and 3.5. However as usual with new models its important to understand how the new model works and what changes to prompting and usage are required.
The lower price for Claude 4 is just a temporary promotion while its new, but the Cursor team mentioned they will announce the final pricing in time.
So overall you can continue to use 3.5 or 3.7, both are 1 single request.
If you turn on long context OR thinking mode on 3.7 then the cost increases as listed on Cursors model pricing page.
