High CPU utilization in agent mode

I’ve noticed that Cursor’s cpu utilization spikes to 35% + when operating in agent mode. I’m on a M3 Max Macbook, and even when idle with no prompts/processing ongoing, Cursor’s cpu utilization spikes. The only way to recover is to close the Cursor app and re-open. Re-starting agent mode will increase cpu utilization until the app is restarted again.

Please fix this issue.

Hey, do you have any extensions installed? Try booting in safe mode with: cursor --disable-extensions, and see if the CPU usage increases.
