Unless this has been a continual issue for over 4 hours, after your post. If that’s the case, please respond informing the mods of that so they can take a closer look for you.
I’ve been unable to use Opus for 24 hours now.

It may be best to email support directly or flag your post so you can ask a mod directly for help. Please be sure to hotkey ctrl+shift+p then select Capture and Send Debugging Data as well.
That’s not unreliable service, that’s paying a premium for access to a brand new SOTA model. You’re perfectly capable of using Claude 3.7 in slow pool.
Want the brand new SOTA model? Pay $0.05 per request like everyone else on Cursor is.

I actually have tried Claude 3.7 and Gemini 2.5 Pro, and I had to wait for so long (many minutes) before thinking tokens started showing up..
That is unreliable. In other words, I don’t mind paying, but I don’t like how this is handled/managed. I have to adapt my dev workflow everyday, and therefore the user experience in Cursor is very unstable.
I don’t like building a few features in Gemini 2.5 Pro, then have to switch to Claude 3.7 for the next feature, then back to Gemini 2.5 Pro, etc.
That is unreliable (imho).
FYI, this pushed me to switch to Aider and use my own API keys, and it’s cheaper and better. (BTW, Cursor rejects my API keys, both Gemini & Anthropic, even though they work on Aider/Codex/Claude Code).

With that said – one of the things I am currently trying to do:
(an idea Had three intertwined ideas pop up that were all entangled - but needed to be three legos to be built – so I attempted to tell the bot as I was prodding it along to pursue the development and deployment of the three scaffolds simultaneously..
The goal is that I am having Claude Desktop set itself up as a callable MCP from within cursor - but an agentic shadow that will keep watchign the .specstory log, and use the Archetype of “Architect” and provide insight to the composer stream,
Secondly - I am having such an agent be a project specific MCP that can be packaged with the project in a portable manner - such that when one uncompresses - or sendthe project, the project architect MCP and build history is portable with the project – so if you ICE them in GLACIER or something when you that Encino.MD the project Architect can walk you through the build thought process.
Last - I am attemoting a local Architect_Prime_0 MCP which keeps a root level project log for the project I Shiny_Object=1 to – and prevent/catalogue AGENTIC_LITTER – which is a sqlitedb AI_KASHIC_RECORD=[somacosf].db SQLITE of all my [DEVELOP_ALL_THE_THIGNS].db
