HOW can I change my keyboard layout?

I regret using jetbrains idea keyboard layout in my first installation, I want to change back to vscode keyboard layout, even if I reinstall cursor it will not work…

I did some google searches in the hope of trying to find an answer, like:

vscode reset keyboard bindings

but I couldn’t find any definite answers.

But just be careful poking around in the keyboard shortcuts area, I don’t want to be responsible for your keyboard to suddenly stop working :slight_smile:.

I am not sure of the internal mechanisms within Cursor that allowed you to choose the JetBrains keyboard layout in your first installation.

So I am not sure exactly what needs to be ‘reset’ and what it should be ‘reset to’.

Hopefully someone more knowledgable in this area can assist you further.

You can go into extensions and remove the JetBrains keymap extension
