Finding that this new feature where clicking the review button or any changed file take’s me to a stacked review which is inaccurate (shows entire pages as changed even when I have committed code and continued with new changes) and miss-leading.
If I click a specific changed file, it is because I want to review the changes that I will keep or reject not the changes that I’ve already accepted. Is this a bug?
I use cursor extensively for work and was happy to use it for a personal project but today it updated with this AWFUL feature.
I’ve been hunting around the settings, does anyone know how to turn this feature off?
I also agree. The new review mode ■■■■■. It obfuscates a lot of the code, hides the color indicators on the scroll-bar and other niceties that we had before. I’d much rather revert to the old method.
Yes, please make the new review screen optional. I prefer going file by file, full editor, to do a comprehensive review…for those that still care about code quality and how everything fits together.
Definitely agree, this Review page makes reviewing changes a lot more tedious, please make this optional and allow us to revert to the original way to review our code when we click a changed file.
100% agree. The latest review mode is pretty much unusable. Honestly, a simple link to the file (like from the file explorer) would be so much better. Make it a toggle for anyone who prefers the new review editor.
As much as I used to like Cursor, the last few months (starting with 2.0) have been an awful experience.
To pile on here: I’ve been a Cursor fan but this change in particular is annoying enough that I’ll be looking at using one of the other (many) AI dev tools that my company offers. Hope that y’all improve this!
