How do I upgrade and find out the current version?

Is this the “latest and greatest”? I am waiting on a significant fix I was told would be in the next release. I am crippled without it.

Hi @ChiefRemote ,

You can view the changelog here:

https://changelog.cursor.sh

To update to the newest version, you can either:

  • Go to cursor.com and click on the Download button

  • In Cursor, open Command Palette (Ctrl + Shift + P) and type Cursor: Attempt Update

However, in regard to the latter option, often the releases are rolled out, so you might see a new release in the changelog, but attempting to update via the Cursor interface will not work, because it is not available to your particular system yet.
