Update 0.45 does not arrive

Hi everyone, can you tell me how to update the cursor to the new version 0.45? I never got the update, I’m sitting on 0.44.11, I also wonder if they have added a new tab-tab model yet?

Hey, you can try forcing an update. To do this, open the command palette with Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + P and type “Attempt update.”

Unfortunately, we’re rolling out this update gradually to catch critical errors early on, and you’ll receive the update when it’s available to you.

Got it, thanks anyway! Can you tell me what about the new tab-tab model, when can we expect it? I really like your autofill, it’s much better than your competitors.

As far as I know, it will be released in one of the upcoming updates.

@deanrie : just trying to understand why did Cursor choose to rollout this way instead of having a stable release and an opt-in beta release ?

as owner of (How to update to 0.44 - #8 by deanrie) can confirm 0.45 just arrived for me

I installed the latest download (250126vgr3vztvj) and then ran Attempt Update from the command palette and was able to get it to 0.45. Apparently the download file was updated just recently.

My requests were heard and I also received 0.45.4! Still really looking forward to the new tab model :frowning:

Ok there is a feature called better codebase understanding, according to changelog, when is that coming out as well or is it already available to all 0.45 users. I am yet to notice any improvement over 0.44

I’m spending nearly 200usd a month and chilling on Version: 0.44.11, too. It’s pretty gash.

Hey, didn’t you receive the new update? You might have accidentally declined it. Try opening the command palette and find “Attempt update” there. If that doesn’t work, you can download the latest version here:
