I tried command pallet Cursor: attemp update
but it didnt work, I had to download the new version and install it over.
Is there a better automatic way of doing this. VSCode updates automatically with with a notification to restart?
Thanks

Hey, the new update is rolling out selectively, and there’s no way to get priority for the update.
I see, I had to download it to get it going.
So just to check, auto update in the app works?
Automatic updates are enabled, but you can also manually request an update by entering this command in the command palette.
Could you make it so that we get some kind of feedback if the installation is successful or not?
I keep getting the popup to update cursor day after day, when i click on it nothing happens. No error or anything. When I run attemp update, nothing happens…
I think I just need to fresh install or something, but it would be nice to get an error at least.
If things go wrong that way you may need to provide more clearer details as this is unexpected during installation.
This is an older thread with last post in Nov. So your version is likely way newer than that.
