How do I view thoughts in expanded mode in the agent view? It’s very tedious to have to expand them every time. tks
Hi @Esteban_Levy Thanks for the post.
Right now there isn’t a setting to keep the thinking sections expanded by default. Thoughts stream open while the model is thinking, then fold into a “Thought for Xs” line when that step finishes, and you expand them again with a click.
Two things that help a bit in the meantime:
- In the Agents Window, open Settings, then Appearance, then Agent Conversations, and set Tool Call Density to Detailed. Edits and terminal commands then render inline instead of being folded into a “Worked for…” group, so the thinking rows are one click closer and easier to spot.
- While the agent is running, clicking the “Thinking” row expands it in place and it streams live until that step completes.
