Right now with claude-4 sonnet, when its done thinking it hides its thinking text automatically. How can we turn that off? I get halfway through reading it, then it disappears. I want to see the thinking text all the time.
Hey, thanks for the feature request. Weāll consider it.

+1 to this feature request. This would be an amazing setting to have.
Itās actually the worse of both worlds right now as you can see the thinking text but by the time you read like 2 words of it itās done and auto collapses.
Add an option to disable the automatic collapse of the thinking process.

I updated to 0.46, so previously this was rendered as normal text inside <think> tags.
Can you give us the option to make it appear more like regular text:
- Remove italic styling
- Make it not greyed out
- Allow markdown rendering (For example,
**Text**is not rendered as bold.)
Essentially, show it exactly like regular AI chat text, but just keeping the āThought Processā dropdown.
Why?
I like to read the thought process always, to ensure the AI understands my request and takes everything necessary into consideration.
Itās a bit hard reading it now that itās greyed out, fully italic, and doesnāt render markdown.
may relate to #Please make "thinking toggle" visible
donāt just āconsider itā then hide your consideration, there are loads of us frustrated with this behaviour. ![]()
try it with grok-code-fast-1 and see how frustrating it can really beā¦
it would really be a great feature
please consider it actively ![]()
