Cursor has gifted me a $100 credit for gork4.6, but I am a subscription user who is charged on Request Usage. How do I set up and use this credit
I’m seeing very similar symptoms on my Pro+ account. Here is the data from my dashboard:
- Credit Balance: I have the $100 promotional credit for Grok 4.6, but the balance has remained at exactly $100.00 despite significant usage today.
- Subscription Quota: My Pro subscription usage moved from 8% to 9% after several long tasks using the Grok 4.6 model.
- Usage Logs: My usage history shows multiple requests with high token counts . However, these are all labeled as “Included” rather than drawing from the promotional balance.
- “Free” Rows: I do see some rows marked as “Free,” but they show “-” (zero) tokens, while the actual heavy tasks are all being counted as “Included.”
I reached out to support , and they mentioned that the promotional credit should have the first priority. However, the rising subscription percentage suggests the quota is being utilized first.
Is anyone else seeing their subscription usage increase while the credit balance remains static? I’m just trying to understand if this is the expected behavior for Pro users.
