Whenever I make a change, like adding two lines here, it appears in green or red and I have to hit Cmd-Y to accept the change. How do I turn off this feature?

I usually never sign up to comment but this has to be the most retarded feature that you can not opt out from. what the actual f?
Any update here? It is so annoying. The empty line is not as frustrating as changing actual line of code, where you see both options in red and green. The change should be marked in a different way. Intellij is a great example - the change is marked near the line with reflecting color, when you click on this indicator you get the window with the change.
