Hi, sorry if this goes beyond cursor, I have cursor premium and in my PC have some projects in github, mostly with poetry or a combination of poetry and conda
I bought a laptop recently and wanted to migrate my cursor settings as well as my projects, well, not migrate, but be able to have my settings in bot computers, I’ll have to research more about poetry and conda, python in general, but I don’t know about cursor
So pretty much, if you forget to export your settings when turning in a work laptop, you will lose everything. Signing in to Cursor and importing VSCode settings apparently just stores them to another file location. Dodged a bullet here!
EDIT
This export method is missing a ton of extensions. I am recovering these manually because they no longer exist in Cursor’s chosen ‘open vsx marketplace’, and I don’t know how I’d ever keep track and transfer these in the future aside from saving them now to my own Dropbox configurations folder.
