How to select an element on the web page?

Hi,

In Windsurf, Bolt.new, and Lovable, we can select an element from the web page and discuss it with the AI.

Is it possible to do something similar in Cursor?

No, not that I know of, you will have to do that manually, at least if the element is only present on the website.

If the code is in cursor, you can ask the agent, simply mark the code and then you will see it.

This kind of feature is really important to have. All the other Vibe-based editors like Windsurf and Lovable support it, and it really boosts productivity.

I get that I can select the code in Cursor, but the whole reason I’m using it is so the AI can help me without having to constantly dig into the code myself. That’s what makes these tools magical — the AI understanding what I’m working on directly from the interface.

Would love to see something like that in Cursor too!
