I’m having difficulty figuring out how to use the ChatGPT o1 Pro model in the free version of Cursor with my ChatGPT Pro subscription’s API key. In particular, I’m unsure how to enable usage-based pricing in the free version of Cursor by adjusting the settings at Settings | Cursor - The AI Code Editor. I’d be very grateful for any assistance. Thank you.
Hey, this is located in the Cursor settings. You can enter your API key and manually add the model to the list if necessary.

Dear deanrie, thanks for the information. Unfortunately, I’ve learned that “OpenAI’s reasoning models (o1, o1-mini, o3-mini) require special configuration and are not currently supported with custom API keys.”
