I am now not even getting a reply

There is NO response at all from any chat, my net is fine, restarted cursor, but it does that itself anyways with the new 2.4 version bug tool inbuilt that just RANDOMLY restarts the app, but i want to that off to

It’s hard enough to build with AI not following rules these guys say they fix and rush out two builds for it then that break, now no releases and we the users suffer with broken code.

I guess they built cursor with cursor and this is why we have all these issues with it

Now i can’t work it’s delayed me all week with their terrible updates and issues and now i have to work the weekend to catch up, but here we are on the weekend with again a broken cursor and it not even replying to simple hello messages in chat.

It has been generating for 30 mins btw, tried on chat, tried on agent, tried another model. NOPE no response on anything
Sigh

same problem. I can not use for 5 days and not fix.
Anyone @ Cursor? @danperks, @ericzakariasson @Zackh1998 @truell20

I had this issue, after removing all mcp servers it started working again. :man_shrugging:

Yea, i was getting an error can’t connect to openAI when i don’t use openAI and i disabled MCP and it started working, but now it’s just not working and all MCP was already disconnected

the reason is MCP servers ?

I did what you said but still same problem also how to unistall mcp server ? @SalaciousCarrot

If you have any mcp servers defined Cursor Settings → MCP remove them.

For some reason in early 0.47 versions if I had any mcp servers defined, I’d never get a response from the agent “connection error check your vpn etc” message.

Still same.

@danperks, @ericzakariasson @Zackh1998 @truell20
pls help me.

Hey, can you run the Developer: Toggle Developer Tools command in the command palette, and have a look for any errors in the console?

Those errors aren’t related at the moment. Can you try clear those with the stop icon at the top right, then try to send a request and see what errors show up then?

Nothing there is too critical. How about a request ID?
