I have already raised this question and 1 week passed I got no response, just changing the category from bug to feedback.
I want to make it very clear, I don’t want the model I am using call a random subagent I don’t want to use, If I am using gpt 5.2 then I am using gpt 5.2, I didn’t ask it to deligate subtask to a different model. It should be my call what model to use, not cursor team’s call.
And no, composer 1 or 1.5 are not satisfactory to me for my use case, if other people are happy it is their choice, it is not my choice, you cannot force me to use it, it is wasting my time and money.
I am spending 400-600 usd per month to use cursor, to get the best dev experience, to switch between the best models I am choosing, if cursor team decide to push their own model by sacrificing the user experience, this would be the last month I use it.
