Sometimes I need to ask a question unrelated to any code I’m working on. Since I’m only paying for Cursor, and not for any other IA, I get a more comprehensive reply straight from Cursor than on ChatGPT free version or Gemini.
That being said, what I currently have is a project that is, on purpose, an empty folder/repo, so I ask the questions there. So it is cheaper in terms of tokens given that the folder is empty, there is no context to attach. Also it is faster than going back and forth to the browser.
It would be easier if I could “attach the null context” (force to have no context) on a specific prompt, so I wouldn’t need this empty folder.
Just an idea.
