Additional Information

I am getting error Message “The certificate for this server is invalid. You might be connecting to a server that is pretending to be “download.todesktop.com” which could put your confidential information at risk.”

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Yes - Cursor is unusable

Hey, are you using a VPN, proxy server, firewall, or any other software that controls your internet connection?

I’m not even getting that far. When I try to open the installation program I get “Application Not Responding”

Hey, is this on your first installation attempt, or have you used Cursor (or VSCode) before?

Sometimes VSCode updates can break things, but the cleanest way would be to fully uninstall both apps, download the latest Cursor installer again from the website and try to install that!
